So we have a septic system now which means we also have, from time to time, septic issues. I called the fella who warranted our drain field yesterday and he’s coming out Monday to have a look. His guess, based on my description of our slow drains and slightly icky smell, is that its not the drain field but rather that we need to pump the system out (ka-ching!) which we’ll arrange to do after he confirms that.
Ick, and ugh.
