Graveyard

Marc and I went in search of things to photograph today. Here are the pictures I took today at the graveyard that houses the angel assumed to have inspired Thomas Wolfe’s Look Homeward, Angel.

And now for something completely different…

Two videos, each different, brought to my attention by the ever-interesting Ze Frank.

Man with helmet-cam caught in avalanche:

There’s something wrong with this man’s peace dove:

And we’re back!

Evidently all I needed to do was post my displeasure with the interwebz and they’re back.

Marc and Moira report that they are happily chug-chug-chugging away online.

The switch…

Morris Broadband bought out our local cable franchise. The switch in services happened yesterday. Or happened yesterday if you consider that we’re being billed by Morris for our outage instead of Mediacom as “switched”.

I might just have well titled this post, “Baby, baby, baby!” as that’s pretty well all, other than pointing and using babytalk to describe Gabriel’s most recent facial tic, Moira said when we went to visit Allison, Stephanie, Ana and Gabriel!

Of course, most people would be reduced to gibberish on meeting so cute [...]

Patrick Swayze, RIP

My sister watched this film unendingly – or so it seemed to me – when it came out on VHS. I mostly remember it as sappy, with some super dance bits. I preferred Mr. Swayze in Ghost myself – but I think Dirty Dancing was his seminal work. I’ll have to see if Marc [...]

Three years

It’s been three years since we lost Patrick to cancer. Today Marc will remember him with all you can eat pizza, and superhero movies.
