- We bought two new-to-us chairs for the back yard and the under used fire pit. I spotted a tutorial on re-webbing a chair here which may come in handy as they begin to wear out in the years to come.

- I found these button necklaces which I’m dying to re-make.
- This is a subtle Halloween costume which might be wearable year ’round by someone who isn’t me. I lack (a) the figure and (b) the sense of whimsical style.

- These watercolor trees make me want to pull out the watercolors sometime soon. Maybe I will!
- We go to very few movies these days, usually instead watching something on Instant Netflix. But Friday night we joined friends at the theatre to see Zombieland, and a rip-roaring good time was had by all! Except possible the two girls, running to their car to avoid the rain, that were splashed by my tires when we hit a puddle on on the way home from the movies. Oops!
- This article on how colored tights are never corporate appropriate dress appeared on the same day as my order from We Love Colors arrived with my colorful winter tights.
- I made Moira four mustaches and a pirate eyepatch using this tutorial.
PS: I need several yards of dove grey or pale pale blue felt or wool felt to make these pillows, tons of them, for my sofa. Yum!!
Moira-Month continues apace. We’ll be celebrating on Monday with “food you eat on a stick” by the fire (if it’s not raining) – if you want to join us, let me know! Tuesday we’ll have “tiny appetizer food” for dinner, followed by frolicking with the water aerobic class. Saturday of next week we’re headed to the Asheville Pizza Company for “Harry Potter 6: This time it’s personal” and some sweet chow. Who knows what may happen after that! I’ll try to keep you update.
Zounds!
