You know it’s been a rough year when finding out you need a new radiator is classified as a “win”. The Sebring heads in for work today once our mechanic locates a new radiator for it; Marc will come on into Asheville with me this morning so we can borrow the plant’s van, or rent [...] While facing yet another huge and unexpected expense (thanks 50 year old septic system for lasting as long as you did), I did manage to get my first personal gift from a vendor: diamonds*!! * well, Sally Hansen “Diamonds” colored nail polish is still diamonds, but with out the solid resale value of the [...] Your browser does not support the video tag Your browser does not support the video tag Els picked these up for the garden on clearance at one of the drug stores. Cool, right? Okay, so I’m not really going to post about ActionFest here (you can read all about it on Marc’s Blog here!) but we did go into Asheville in the early afternoon and spend the day wandering around downtown, eating and shopping. We started with a liquid truffle, maple butter cake and a chocolate pistachio [...] The weather was perfect for finishing up one side of the picket fence. :) Disney does Easter egg hunts right. They had set aside a small green space and let kids in to collect no more than five eggs. It was fun and low pressure. I’m eating broccoli!! Someone has some new chompers – and a beautiful smile! |
