On Saturday we hit Lowe’s for a few things – and on the way out we passed this self-service key making machine. I can recall when I had a key grinder and tried to sell it on eBay having it pulled (evidently it was illegal to sell such things across state lines or something). What a great convenience this would be – if it works. Els pointed out that we can hardly rely on the locksmith to make good keys, so how much less excellent might they be when cut by a machine instead of a skilled craftsman…
The women’s room at Walmart is always closed for cleaning when I need to use it – and yet, I’ve never seen the restroom looking as if it’s been cleaned. Funny, right?
Dorothy was cute while waiting on dinner tonight. She’s getting more sentence-oriented, including such gems as “I clean face” and “you’re pretty” when putting a headband on her grandfather.
Dinner tonight was Oscar Meyer Select beef dogs. Els grilled them up just right. Delicious!
Tonight we’re just relaxing in front of the television, watching comedy (or ha-ha’s, as Marc tends to say). Tomorrow I return to work; today was filled with doctor’s visits and reminders of how much it stinks not to have insurance. Fun times!
