Ruffled Goodness
I’d never knit a baby gift before – but when the occasion arose, it was time to find the perfect quick, easy and (most importantly) cute baby bonnet for the soon-to-be-born babe. Mom-to-be tells me that a girl is expected, and so the internet search for an appropriate pattern began.
It ended several hours later unsuccessfully – nothing really caught my eye. I figured, given that I now about how far ’round the hat needs to stretch, how hard can making my own feminine-girly-girl hat be? I settled on an easy faux-cable pattern (no cable needle required!) with a cute ruffled brim and an I-cord top knot?
And so a hat of ruffled goodness was born. Yum, yum!
