Nineteen year’s of wedded mostly-bliss. We’ll celebrate today with dinner at home (I’ve got something planned) and a day of lazing around and enjoying each other’s company. So really, it’s just like any other day lately except that we’ll say, “Happy anniversary, dear” more often than usual. :) My sweetie used the snow on the car to leave me a message yesterday just before we took off for a buying trip on our anniversary. Isn’t that nice? We did make the effort – though a day of shopping wasn’t how either of us intended to spend the day – to have some quality time together. [...] I have THE BEST fella. Just THE BEST. Really. Today is actually our anniversary – 15 years of wedded bliss. I had lunch with friends, errands, and a class to teach this afternoon so we knew we’d spend no time together today which led to our celebrating earlier this week. But when I returned home, [...] Today marks our 14th anniversary. Marc drove me in to work where, upon opening the car door, it (the car door) came off its hinges. This meant a trip back to Waynesville for a fix. On the way back, while no where near any other vehicle, a rock suddenly dropped from the sky – I am [...] We married on a bright spring day in 1990 at the small Baptist church where my mom’s friend was minister. I’d attended as a teen-ager, watching the children in the nursey during services. Marc’s best friend offered him an out (“I’ll just sneak you out the back door and drive you where ever you want…”) [...] Just back from a walk in the woods to celebrate 13 years. :-) Happy, happy, happy anniversary, mom and dad!
