Today we started off on the Q train for Coney Island. Nothing is open yet but we enjoyed walking down the boardwalk, watching the water, and sitting in the sun. Next up was the Brooklyn Museum where a showing of Basquiat’s work was the central theme. My favourite piece was Pegasus – unfortunately there wasn’t [...] Tonight we go to see The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to which Becka thoughtfully bought tickets for us all. This morning saw us at the museum and slightly more specialized museum. We’re also hoping to hit the Lladro shop on our way to the theatre. Tomorrow may see Coney Island before we return [...] Well, we’re here. I’m in an internet cafe almost directly below Becka’s apartment. :) This morning was taken up with the dentist (I broke something – yikes!) and followed up with strolls through 2 museums. We’e definitely enjoying ourselves! Tomorrow we may go to Coney Island (we’re unsure of whether anything would be open). Tonight [...] |
