It’s been a nice long weekend, but today is back to business. Hoping that Moira and I will hit the gym tonight as well. She had a photo shoot on Sunday immediately on the heels of returning from Johnson City. Here are two of the photos that I liked the best: Next weekend, in an effort [...] Moira was asked (by her future mother-in-law) to participate in a body art show in Johnson City, TN this past Friday. She was very excited! She brought her own model (the lovely Grace, with whom she has worked before), bought two expensive MAC Chromacakes, and began practicing! The show was organized by Ren, Patti and [...] I can’t quite remember what inspired this eye make-up for Moira – probably a YouTube contest of some sort – but I like it. She continues to pump out the YouTube tutorials at a solid pace. I continue to watch just because seeing how she’s getting better at them is exciting – even if I’ll [...] …Moira, having learned how to make a YouTube video, is now making more tutorial videos, and writing a blog. Next thing you know she’ll be a big-time make-up artist and not even remember us. /sigh MAC Cosmetics called – and she has an interview for a temporary position there over the summer! * Yowsers! She’s busily looking through her portfolio so we can get 8 – 10 shots printed this weekend. In addition to jumping for joy, she’s also practicing interview questions, lining up a model in case she gets [...] … at the Salon Corral! Moira had a shoot on Sunday … and one of the photos taken was of her and the hair dresser. I think they look like they’re about to square off for a dual, or a shoot-out. The photos of the shoot itself should be available later – you can always check [...] I’ve been on antibiotics for my abscess for about half the doses now – and the abscess isn’t any better at all. Indeed tonight it was as swollen and dreadful as it has ever been. I’m scheduled to undergo a root canal on Wednesday but will call the dentist today to make sure that he [...] This is a photo from the shoot Moira did yesterday. Today Moira and I had appointments with folks at the YMCA to learn how to use the weight equipment – or at least that’s what I thought I had an appointment to [...] We’re preparing for our annual Oscar party – with our usual attendance of four. We’re not terribly social most years and this one is no different. We’ve got appetizers planned, and some sweet treats. Marc will move the cable box out to the television in the living room (the one we only use for playing [...]
