My root canal went off without a hitch, sort of. The dentist actually only half-finished, evidently. The infection is still raging so they cleaned out the dead root, and inserted cotton and very-temporarily-capped it, and sent me home until next week when the cotton will be removed and a less-temporary-crown will be added in place [...]

I’ve been on antibiotics for my abscess for about half the doses now – and the abscess isn’t any better at all. Indeed tonight it was as swollen and dreadful as it has ever been.
